Biography
Biographical information. Born on 2 February 1967 in Mukachevo, Zakarpattia Oblast. Citizen of Ukraine.
Education. In 1984, graduated with a gold medal from Secondary School No. 5 in Mukachevo.
In 1989, she received a higher education at Uzhhorod State University, majoring in Mathematics (specialising in Cybernetics), qualifying as a mathematician and teacher. In 1990, she completed retraining at Kharkiv University named after A.M. Gorky and received a degree in Psychology, qualifying as a practical psychologist in public education.
In 1995, she defended her thesis on “The Professional Development of Young Teachers” (G.S. Kostiuk Institute of Psychology, Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine) and obtained a PhD in Psychology.
In 2005, she defended her doctoral thesis on “The Psychology of Educational Communication” (G.S. Kostiuk Institute of Psychology, National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine) and received a Doctor of Psychological Sciences degree in the specialty 19.00.07 – Pedagogical and Age Psychology.
Work. She began professional career as a mathematics teacher and practical psychologist in secondary schools in Mukachevo. Worked as a lecturer at the Mukachevo Pedagogical College, and later at higher education institutions in Mukachevo (a branch of the Podillia Technological University, the Mukachevo Technological Institute, and Mukachevo State University). She has held the positions of academic secretary, head of department, vice-rector and rector. Currently works as a professor at the Ferenc Rákóczi II Transcarpathian Hungarian Institute.
In 1999, was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor of the Department of Humanities, and in 2011, she became a Professor of the Department of Psychology.
In 2008, received a state award – the honorary title of “Honoured Worker of Education of Ukraine”. She was also awarded the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine’s “Excellence in Education” and “For Scientific and Educational Achievements” badges.
Scientific supervision. Under her supervision, 7 candidate dissertations and one doctoral dissertation have been defended, and she is currently supervising the work of 5 Postgraduate Students.
Research interests and main scientific works. Her scientific interests focus on the problems of the psychology of educational communication, the training of future specialists, and the digitalisation of education in the context of the development of artificial intelligence. Scientific achievements include: 17 monographs, 4 textbooks and manuals, over 110 articles in professional publications, more than 50 publications in international journals, 11 articles in Scopus and 4 in Web of Science, as well as over 130 abstracts.
