Complaints Policy

The editorial office of Scientific Studios on Social and Political Psychology strives to ensure prompt, transparent, and constructive consideration of all complaints and inquiries related to publications, peer review, or the activities of the editorial board. Each complaint is assessed individually, taking into account its nature, complexity, and the evidence provided. Editorial decisions are based on the recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and international standards of integrity.

Suggestions or complaints should be sent to the journal’s email address: info@sppstudios.com.ua. All submissions are reviewed within 30 working days. In complex or multi-component cases, the investigation period may be extended, and the complainant will be informed accordingly.

Complaints must be clear, specific, and contain sufficient factual information to support a possible breach of publication ethics. Where possible, it is recommended to provide documents or other materials that substantiate the alleged violations.

The editorial office provides a written response to complaints concerning authors, reviewers, editors, or editorial board members, explaining the reasons if a complaint is deemed inappropriate or beyond the journal’s scope. The journal reserves the right to decline investigation of complaints submitted in an offensive, threatening, or defamatory manner.

Appeals Policy

Authors or reviewers who disagree with an editorial decision regarding publication have the right to submit an appeal. The appeal must be submitted in writing to the journal’s email address within 30 calendar days of receiving the decision. The appeal should clearly state the grounds for contesting the decision and include relevant arguments or additional supporting materials.

Appeals are reviewed by an independent committee composed of the Deputy Editor-in-Chief and uninvolved editorial board members who did not participate in the initial decision. The appeals process is transparent and fully documented, and the final decision of the committee is communicated to the appellant in writing. The committee’s decision is final and binding.
