Education is presented as one of the main social institutions that contribute to the formation of a tolerant personality in modern society. It is substantiated the necessity to pay the pedagogical community's attention to the emergence and spread of stigma problems in different educational environments and to increase the tolerance for otherness level in the participants of the educational process. It is revealed the content of the developed technology of socio-psychological support of stigmatized minorities, aimed at working with the social environment, namely with the pedagogical community, to increase tolerance for difference in the educational environment, and build a safe tolerant educational environment. It is shown that the process of these technologies’ implementation is provided by modeling and integration of information-content, diagnostic, and correctional-developmental components of the technology, the content of which was specified in accordance with socio-psychological problems of tolerance to otherness in the educational environment, and building a safe tolerant educational environment. There are presented the ways and means of providing such support at the cognitive, emotional, and behavioral levels in the context of technology’s orientation to work with the social environment. The implication of the presented technologies to the educational process will help to raise awareness on the stigmatization phenomenon and means to prevent its spread in the educational environment, on the tolerance for otherness essence, and education for it. The development of tolerance and security in an educational environment can become a kind of laboratory for the practice of tolerance as an attitude and behavior in different circumstances and relationships
