The socio-psychological aspects of motivation of volunteering help
Анотація
There are highlighted the analysis results of motivational aspects of volunteering problematic. The models of studying and explaining the motivational aspects of volunteering help and prosocial behavior as carriers of the characteristics of unselfishness are summarized within the limits of two heterogeneous problematic contexts. The first problematic context is marked by opposition of distinction between volunteering as the systematic, sustained socially useful activities and as the spontaneous situational act. It is noted that this opposition extends to the level of separation and explanation of the causes of opposite types of help. In particular, it is noted that the help provision activity is motivated mainly by internal personal factors, but the helping behavior is motivated mainly by situational and objective factors. As the other problematic context it is marked the antithesis within altruism-egoism as the founded model for building more concrete representations about the motivational aspects of such phenomena as helping and prosocial behaviors. It is noted that the sociopsychological aspects of volunteering motivation are insufficiently developed, but they constitute a separate and independent direction of this problematic. There are marked and substantiated the three problematic contexts within the limits of which there can be identified and disclosed the specificity of socio-psychological aspects of volunteering motivation. As the first socio-psychological aspect it is marked the problematic of social perception in its concretization by studies of causal attribution. The recipient’ or his/her characteristics possibility to act as the separate motivational factor defines the limits of this aspect. As the second socio-psychological aspect it is marked the orientation specificity’s problematic of volunteering activity upon the other activity, what reveals the sociality characteristics as the separate motivational factor of volunteering. The problematic of the commonality as the characteristic of connection (which comes up with from understanding the interaction as separate motivational factor) is marked as the third socio-psychological aspect
