Abstract

The relevance of the study is conditioned by the acute need to increase the effectiveness of socio-psychological rehabilitation of participants of the military conflict, especially in a rather high level of distrust of society towards the government and public initiatives. The purpose of the paper is to determine the socio-psychological (group, family) resources of maintaining the mental health of participants of military actions and their families. The organization of empirical research in the methodological plan was carried out in two directions: the definition of the “therapeutic potential” concept, and the role of members of small groups (families) in the process of rehabilitation; the defining of axiological markers of effectiveness’ increasing in rehabilitation programs and programs of personal development. As a result of the analysis, it is revealed that the problem situation is characterized by actualization of family difficulties, causes changes in family identity; the factors which cause the well-being aggravation are the cognitive dissonance in the system “I – the other”, the divergence of value orientations between the personality and the society. The specificity of the combatants’ axiosphere is the opposition to a “peaceful” society as the search for new meanings, new forms of social activity, as a specifically bright emotional perception of life activity, life events. There are recommended the directions of psychological support of families of injured combatants: the group counseling for wives with the purpose of forming the consciousness for the ties “personality – situation – problem”; the group family consultations to interactualize the adaptive opportunities of the spouses, to try the new social experience. There are also recommended the directions for the development of axiological principles of rehabilitation programs for the combatants (military actions’ participants): the quality of family relationships and parental values are the mechanisms for the habilitation in combatants of the culture of social interaction perception; the participants’ gathering according to the axiological positions is enabling the significant improving in the effectiveness of rehabilitation influences
